Liposuction Recommendations

(1) Short downtime

　Because the area to be suctioned is smaller than that of the limbs and trunk, downtime is shorter than for liposuction of other areas. There are only three suction holes at the base of the earlobes and under the chin, and they are not noticeable. The major swelling will subside in about a week, allowing for a quick return to daily activities.

(2) Strong tightening effect

　Liposuction causes numerous wounds under the skin. When the wounds heal, the area where liposuction was performed tightens because of contracture, a tightening of the tissues. Before liposuction, we use a machine called Vaser to heat the skin to make it easier to suction out fat, which is also effective in tightening the tissue. HIFU, which is used to treat sagging skin, uses ultrasound to apply heat to the subcutaneous tissues from the surface of the skin in an attempt to tighten them through thermal denaturation.

(iii) Long-lasting effects

　If liposuction of the facial line is performed while the patient is still young, the areas that have been suctioned will remain tight for a long period of time. In addition, the skin tends to sag when there is a lot of subcutaneous fat, but the reduction of subcutaneous fat can be expected to prevent sagging in the future.

　In middle-aged and older patients with advanced sagging, there may be some skin laxity left after liposuction. However, when combined with a thread lift or facelift, liposuction is still recommended because adhesions after liposuction occur in the position where the skin is lifted.

(4) Good cosmetics and typa

　Liposuction of the face line is the most affordable of all liposuction procedures. It is one of the most cost-effective of the many cosmetic surgery procedures. Local anesthesia is sufficient to perform the procedure, saving the cost of intravenous anesthesia or general anesthesia. Preoperatively, there is a large amount of fat deposited on the facial line, but postoperatively, the border of the hidden mandible is clearly visible. The excess tissue between the submental area and the neck is gone and refreshed.

In this case, there is less fat deposition in the facial line even before surgery. Nevertheless, postoperatively, the border of the mandible is even more defined and the facial line is sharper. The tightening after liposuction is clearly visible in this case.
