If the curve of the nostrils (nostril margin) hangs downward when viewed from the side, the nasal wings will appear thicker than they actually are.
In such cases, the nostril margin can be excised and the curve corrected to give a lighter impression of the nose.
This surgery can also be used to slightly widen the nostrils if they are too narrow when viewed from below. It is sometimes combined with nasal wing reduction.

Postoperative risks and side effects

-Philadelphia infection: If there is prolonged "heat," "redness," "severe pain," or "severe swelling" in the treated area after surgery, infection is suspected.

-Slight left-right difference Slight left-right difference: A left-right difference in the size and shape of the nostrils may occur. This is due to the left-right difference in the size and shape of the original nostrils, or a slight discrepancy in the amount and position of the skin to be removed in surgery. Please understand that the surgery is not precise enough to avoid slight left-right differences of less than 1mm, although it is performed to make it as symmetrical as possible.

-Mr. scar: Although we will suture as carefully as possible, there may be cases of scar bumps, dents, or distortions due to the nature of the skin or displacement of the stitched wound.

-Not effective enough Not effective enough: Depending on the original size of the nose, a single surgery may not be effective enough.
We may consider revision surgery while monitoring the progress.
