breast care
The column on breast care continues from this post.
First, let us review the structure of the breast (nipple) as described in previous columns.
The breast is composed of mammary tissue and fatty tissue supported by connective tissue called Cooper's ligament. Cooper's ligament runs vertically through the breast (from the deepest part of the breast to the breast surface) to the skin and keeps the breast in a spherical shape. The breast is located over the pectoralis major muscle, but the breast itself has no muscles.

The breast is the second thickest fatty area of the body, after the temple region. The skin around the breast plays an important role in supporting the breast and keeping it spherical. The firmness and elasticity of the skin greatly affects the texture of the breast curve.
Breast-related concerns can vary in shape, size, and age-related changes.
Therefore, breast care for ideal breast shape varies widely. Techniques such as self-massage, breast care cosmetics such as breast creams, and undergarments such as corrective bras are widely used.
In addition, the number of breast cancer patients among Japanese women is increasing every year. In view of this, it is important to incorporate breast care into your daily life so that you will be aware of and notice changes in the condition of your breasts yourself when you change clothes or take a bath, which will lead to early detection of breast cancer.
